Which Electric Toothbrush is Best with Braces?

Wearing braces presents unique challenges for teeth cleaning. Orthodontists are frequently asked which toothbrush is best?  Researchers in Germany put electric toothbrushes to the test. They found that longer brushing times and mastery of tooth brushing techniques were just as important as using a good brush.
 
In their study, the Sonicare® electric toothbrush proved to be the most efficient. The Sonicmax™ and Oral-B® ProfessionalCare™ 7000 were effective as well. No matter which toothbrush you use, taking the extra time to carefully clean around your brackets and wires helps to ensure a healthy and beautiful smile.
